Monthly Competition

Digital Entries

How to submit your digital images -

Open a Folder on your Computer named

Set Subjects Subject -  Your Name” e.g. “Set Subject -Triangles - Joe Bloggs”

Size the images you wish to enter to within a maximum of 1400 x 1050 pixels.

Save them with a filename that includes your name, whether the image is for the Set Subject (SS) or the Open  part of the Competition.

Add A or B to distinguish the two Set Subject entries and add also a title, if you wish, which will be read out.

E.g.

Joe Bloggs SSA      At all angles

Joe Bloggs SSB     Isosceles

Joe Bloggs Open    Evening Light

Save them in your “Set Subjects” folder as a JPEG at a high resolution.

By the closing date of each Competition submit a CD containing your relevant “Set Subject” folder.

Two or more entrants may use the same CD providing that they use their individual folder containing their name.

Identify the CD with your name(s) so that it can be returned to you after each round for use in later rounds.

If you wish for any help please ask Matthew Clarke or if you are unsure how to resize your image you may wish to look at the file from the Rushden Photographic Society’s Open Exhibition - click here - which has some helpful advice on both resizing and adding backgrounds.  NB If following the Rushden advice the image size should be 1400 x 1050 for IDPS and EAF competitions.
