IDPS welcomes everyone with an interest in photography in all its forms. One of our objectives is to help our members to develop their photographic skills and creativity. At IDPS you can find experts in all aspects of photography. Our subject matter is as diverse as the membership – nature, close-up, pictorial, landscape, travel etc. Most members use digital cameras and image processing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Serif Affinity to produce prints and images for projection. Advice is available for most makes of camera. Our members are pleased to share their knowledge and experience at our discussion evenings and Photographic Workshops. We all still have plenty to learn about photography!

Annual Subscriptions

for 2024-2025 Season (due on 1st September) : Full Members £60 Associate £35 Country £40 Junior £15 The membership of any member who has not paid their annual subscription by 30th September will lapse. Categories of Membership of the Society: Ordinary Members shall be over 18 years old, Country Members shall be living outside a radius of 25 miles (40.23km) from the Headquarters Junior Members shall be under 18 years old or be students still in approved full time education. Junior Members under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paid up Ordinary or Country Member of the Society when attending meetings Associate Members. A spouse or partner of an Ordinary or Country Member may become an Associate Member, and may attend all meetings and excursions arranged by the Society but may not enter competitions or the Annual Exhibition or have any voting rights.
