IP3 0AQ Time – 10am This will be a practical outdoor workshop, where we will spend the day at Ipswich Marina and surrounding area. This will give us the opportunity to try ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and to use Filters, for which there is plenty of opportunity and subjects to try out and practice on. Please bring your camera, tripod and filters There are plenty of cafes and places for lunch and refreshments. There is no charge for this workshop.

Sunday 22nd November 2026 (led by Graham Wood) - will be a Portrait

and Beauty session with a full studio setup in the pavilion. The Charge

for this session will be £15

The day will commence at 10.00 for 10.15 start with an overview of the lighting equipment, how it works, and how to set up different configurations to achieve a variation of styles. We will focus on the Key Light, Fill Light, Rim Light and background lights to explore how different set ups can create very different results from high contrast to soft images and how to tailor the mood of your images by strobe placement, modifiers used and power settings. Our model Karolina will arrive at about 11am and we will explore how light and shadow can bring out the best in our models face. After the instructional period, it will be the turn of our members to take their images with the concepts learned (cont’d)
